FLS Transportation Services Limited has an immediate need for a full time Accounts Payable Manager in our Corporate Montreal office. The role of the Manager is to be actively involved on improving workflows and cash flow while ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place with an objective of minimizing risks. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will oversee the full accounts payable process and the document processing group responsible for proof of delivery ("POD ") matching. The Manager will supervise a team of approximately ten employees. Responsibilities will include: Supervise timely payment of vendor invoices (trade payables); Resolution and reconciliation of accounts payable issues with vendors; Oversee Accounts Payable and POD groups to maximize efficiency and accuracy of work performed; Work with the Controller to determine cash management optimization, improve workflow and ensuring appropriate internal controls; Preparation of reports and any other ad hoc duties. Requirements Proven work experience with at least 10 years as an Accounts Payable Manager or equivalent; DEP degree in Accounting or an equivalent; Strong Excel and accounting software proficiency; Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving attitude; Team management skills; Able to work in a changing environment including a system migration; Transportation industry experience (including intermodal) will be an asset; Bilingual is an asset.
