We are a healthy Meal delivery company specializing in finedining meals and cater to all kind of clientele from busy professionals to young adults, to busy mom's/families who do not have the time to cook. We are looking for a very professional, skilled, reliable, punctual Chef who can be part of our growing business and help us run the kitchen. Should be able to execute the Menu and have assets to manage the kitchen. The Chef is also required to come up with new seasonal rotational Menu's every quarterly. The role of our Chef is to execute the menu, ensuring a high level of performance, guest satisfaction and profitability. -A minimum of 5 years cooking with two years working in a similar role as Head Chef -Maintains a high level of personal integrity, ethics and leads by example. -Supervises kitchen staff and is responsible for maintaining food quality and timing. -Ensures food standards are constantly upheld and this of utmost importance -Recruitment and training of kitchen staff - Understanding of classical cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients, culinary trends, and proper execution of recipes. - Able to work under pressure and handle large volume of orders. - Should be innovative, creative and should be able to research on new trends or on demand requirements and make Menus accordingly. Qualifications: - Food Handling Certificate - Minimum of 5 years of cooking experience and 2 years of experience as a Chef - Good communication skills, including verbal and writing skills. - High level of attention to detail. Job Type: Full time - 32 - 35 hours/week Should be available every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Opportunity for 5 days/week in January 2019.
