We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a fast-paced sales cycle environment. The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious new customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects and working in partnership with senior sales reps. Specific Responsibilities Make sales calls to dormant accounts and cold calls Place outbound calls to follow-up on products and service inquiries in a timely manner Conduct appointment with prospective customers via remote or web based formats Identify opportunities within existing customer base and grow portfolio Update and maintain database Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails Primary company contact for day-to-day prospecting and lead tracking Maximize social media for prospecting Qualification of self-generated leads and leads generated through marketing campaigns Understand customer needs and requirements Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure Accurately determine customer needs and explain features and benefits that provide value Give customer quotes and product information Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: BA/BS degree or combination of relevant experience Inside sales experience, preferably within the government and/or legal fields considered an asset Previous call center experience considered an asset Proven ability to close deals over the phone Strong customer service, interpersonal communication, & telephone skills Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, preferred Experience with computer desktop applications (i.e. MS Office) Goal oriented team player, and a self-starter who is highly motivated to succeed Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Other Info: Competitive compensation package with comprehensive benefits and a pension plan Opportunity for career advancement in entrepreneurial environment Downtown Toronto office location Option to work remotely when needed Employee and Family Assistance program services available on joining date Other paid days off including Paid Moving Day, Paid Volunteer Day, etc. Fun and friendly work environment with frequent parties and special events happening every month!
