Job Description Northern Gold Foods Ltd., a food manufacturing facility located in Port Coquitlam, BC is currently seeking a full time HR/Payroll Administrator . Core Duties: All tasks related to processing bi-weekly hourly payroll including electronic timesheet review for completeness/accuracy, adding/removing staff and maintenance of employee profiles Additional payroll reporting/tracking including turnover, overtime, vacation, accident reporting Reconcile payroll register and prepare journal entry for accounting Maintain hardcopy personnel records Maintain group benefit plan: adding, removing, changes, communication with staff Assist with hourly staff recruiting including placing employment ads, screening, interviewing, reference checking and new hire orientation Other payroll and benefits related tasks as required Support Functions: · Liaise with Worksafe as required · Issue/monitor door scan keys, company uniforms and lockers · Assist with organizing employee functions and long service awards · Other office administration tasks as required Successful candidates will have: · 2+ years payroll and benefits experience · Excellent verbal and written communication · Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task · Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite Compensation: · Competitive salary, commensurate with experience · Comprehensive benefit package This is a great opportunity with a growing company.
