Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic
Location: Edmonton, AB
Diversified Transportation requires Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Edmonton-based shop. This position would be Full-Time.
Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will work in a fast paced environment maintaining a fleet of nearly 100 motorcoaches. Diversified offers an above average work environment with an emphasis on safety and training. To qualify for the Mechanic position, you must be a reliable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
As the successful candidate, you possess a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic Ticket or Journeyman Truck and Transport Mechanic Ticket.

Position Requirements:
• Pre-employment fitness for work testing
• Pre-employment drug testing
• Shift work may be required
• Class 1, 2 or 3 Driver's License with Airbrake Endorsement considered an asset.
As a mechanic, your duties are as follows:
• Maintenance/repair of motorcoaches
• CVSA Inspections
• Respond to breakdowns
• Spring and winter maintenance
• Supervision of apprentices
