Distribution Supervisor - Randa Accessories

The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for the efficient management and prioritization of daily customer orders, inventory control and instilling a continuous improvement philosophy within the distribution center. The Distribution Supervisor is responsible for achieving superior productivity levels, while maintaining health and safety standards and providing the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities:

* Provide day to day training, coaching and instruction for associates, including performance counseling
* Ensure adherence to customer order delivery dates and fulfillment accuracy / quality of work
* Supervise to productivity standards, achieving / surpassing budgetary goals through continuous improvement
* Review customer order reports daily and prioritize based on deliver dates
* Maintain inventory integrity and overall process control
* Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, working with customer support and the sales team to proactively prevent and / or resolve any customer issues
* Maintain safety standards at all times, ensuring associates are trained and the distribution center is clean, neat, and free of safety hazards
* Building services and equipment management
* Performs other related duties as required

Education & Experience:

* Post-secondary education and / or professional designation...i.e... CITT, PLOG certification is an asset
* 5-7 years of leadership experience within distribution center
* Experience managing SKU intensive inventory within pick / pack environment
* Capable of managing changing priorities, multitasking and achieving commitments / goals
* Proven ability to build / lead high functioning associates within a collaborate team environment
* Ability to develop and implement process improvements, ensuring team alignment and long term consistency
* Certification on mobile equipment (Reach Truck, Order Picker)
* Strong working knowledge of general WMS functionality, RF technology and general computer skills...i.e... MS Office
* Must be a complete team player with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
