Job Description SUMMARY: The position of blow mold set-up technician coordinates the set-up of the blow mold lines but does not actually take part in the set-up of those lines. Their duties are to prepare the components needed to change lines over and manufacture the different bottles. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform Set up (enter process values, develop process control sheets) Make process improvements (cycle time deductions, standard operating procedures) Troubleshooting Replace components/minor maintenance Keep machines and work areas clean Set up production lines Any other bargaining unit work as assigned Basic PLC knowledge Ensure adherence to all required quality standards Maintain log of all repairs and adjustments made to equipment Follow and support all safety programs Maximize performance of blow mold equipment Conduct quality checks nd implement corrective action as necessary Responsible for bringing machine up from a cold condition to a full production operation ensuring the container meets quality specifications KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum College Diploma in Trades Must be able to read and understand manuals Must be forklift certified Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently (testing will be done to verify) A Career with KIK Offers: KIK offers very competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health, wellness, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
