Job Description Reporting to the Director, Control & Robotic of the Engineering Products business unit, the supervisor must ensure that the resources under his supervision have the methods, tools and training required to meet engineering needs. The supervisor governs his team in an agile and matrix organization or he must provide resources to different multidisciplinary team focused on the development of Symbotic products. Responsibilities •Plans and assigns resources to the different multidisciplinary team; •Provides support for the different needs of resources in terms of training and ensures the development of their skills; •Makes sure to maintain a team that meets the needs of the company, in number and experience. Deals with recruitment and participates in the definition of positions and levels; •Conducts performance evaluations, technical development reviews and encourages career development. Set individual goals that meet the need for resources and the business; •Communicates the vision and values expressed in corporate policies; •Address emergencies as well as difficult situations; •Ensures that the motivation and level of commitment of his team are maintained; Technical management •Ensures a good communication inside and outside the team; •Contributes to the improvement, enhancement and development of tools and work processes (standards, V-Cycle, etc.); •Give a technical support and supervises programmers assigned to product teams; •Evaluates the needs of product teams for resource allocation; •Participates in brainstorming sessions and design journals; •Ensures the technical direction and quality of the work done by his team; •Promote opportunities for technical improvement and support the continuous improvement initiatives of his team. Qualifications Requirements •Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; •Minimum ten (10) years of experience in automatization engineering team; •Need several skills of the following specialties; oPLC (Allen Bradley, BeckHoff B&R, etc) oRobots (ABB, Fanuc, Motoman etc) oIndustrial networking (Ethernet/IP, EtherCat, etc.) oObject oriented programming language (C ++, C #, etc) Required Skills •Excellent planning, organization, prioritization and management skills; •Recognized for team spirit, dynamism, respect and integrity; •Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization; •Flexibility to work under pressure and in an environment where priorities change; •Autonomous, resourceful and positive and natural leadership.
